1) Adsense announcement > Advertising balance is being retired
May 6, 2020
Thanks for using ad balance. Based on the feedback from our publishers, we have decided to retire the ad balance feature. Going forward we will instead focus on developing them to control our blockchain.
Adsense said, What's going on
We are removing ad balances from AdSense accounts on May 20, 2020. We will also remove the Ad Balance Experiment option with all full Ad Balance Experiments on this date.
If you are currently using Ad Balance or have an Ad Balance experiment, we will email you with additional information. You do not need to take any action if you do not use these features.
Main things > Focus on your best performing ads
We understand that improving your site's user experience, while still maintaining and increasing your revenue, is a tough balance to strike. Ad balance controls help you reduce the number of ads shown to users, especially those ads that have earned you the least amount of revenue and see how this affects your earnings.
In short, much of your revenue comes from a relatively small portion of your advertising impressions. You can improve the overall visitor experience on your site for the least amount of revenue on your site by simply showing you the ads that make you the most money.
Remember that we analyze the traffic to your site to help tell us what effect the ad pay rate has on our payouts. If traffic to your site is low, our predictions about your revenue behavior may not be an accurate representation of your revenue performance for long. For example, let's say your site receives approximately 100 ad requests per week, but only one of them requests high-value advertising. Since the bulk of your advertising comes from that one ad, our revenue estimates can be left in that direction. As your traffic grows over time, these high-value ads will result in fewer drinks in your data and make our revenue estimates more accurate.

2) Significant changes to the Google Publisher Toolbar
March 12, 2020
AdSense is on a mission in 2020 to provide a set of enhanced but simplified tools to help reduce complexity and focus on creating great content. To help with this campaign, the Google Publisher Toolbar will no longer be available for use from May 2020.
The toolbar will be removed from the Chrome Web Store from May 2020. After this date, you will no longer be able to access your AdSense data through the toolbar. Please note that this change will not affect your AdSense account.
All AdSense data displayed through the toolbar will be accessible through the AdSense interface. We recommend using the following AdSense features as a replacement for Toolbar functionality:
2) Significant changes to the Google Publisher Toolbar
1) Home report to view your earnings information

With Goal Variation, Google may adjust any amount of illegal activity that you need to adjust from your earnings or any amount at the end of another month, as needed.Advertising Review Center for blocking or reporting problems
2) The Ad review center to block or report problem ads:
Some important things to know about the Ad review center:
You can find it on the Blocking controls page in your AdSense account
It supports ads of all targeting types (contextual, personalized, and placement)
You can use its filter and search functions to help you find ads to review and block
It doesn't support all AdSense products
You can only block ads at the product level, not on a site-by-site basis
For help getting started with the Ad review center, see our guide to reviewing ads.
